# Find, organize, and delete captures

> Search the Tekma library, filter recordings, organize work, and restore deleted captures from Trash.

Use the capture library to find the right reproduction without relying on a copied share link.

## Find a capture

Open the dashboard in the correct workspace. Search by a descriptive title and use the available filters for capture type, status, source, creator, or folder. Switch between grid and list views depending on how much detail you want to scan.

Use consistent titles across related reports: naming the feature first makes a library easier to search. Keep one distinct problem per capture when possible.

## Organize with folders

Use folders to group related captures, such as a release, product area, or investigation. Folders help navigation; workspace permissions and share settings still control access.

## Delete and restore

Deleting a capture moves it to **Trash** and stops its share links from resolving. It is retained for 30 days before permanent cleanup.

To restore a capture, select **Trash** in the library's state filter and choose **Restore** on the capture. It returns to its previous state. Review any existing share links after restoring it.

**Delete permanently** schedules removal without waiting for the remaining retention period. Once the capture is purged, it cannot be restored from Trash.

Owners and members can delete and restore captures. Viewers cannot.
