Import a video

The original page URL is required. Tekma converts the first video stream and optional first audio stream to WebM and follows the normal asynchronous processing path. It does not invent browser diagnostics, and the input file is not modified. FFmpeg/ffprobe are required. Use --workspace-id to select a destination explicitly. Keep the import checkpoint if a large upload is interrupted; use tekma import resume when the command reports a resumable checkpoint. An import does not turn a screenshot or trace archive into a browser recording.

Import an image

PNG, JPEG and WebP are supported. The stored image has no video chapters, streaming renditions or reconstructed diagnostics. Review image pixels and metadata before upload.

Attach a Playwright trace

The video importer can accept a trace only when the trace page and video start timing are explicit and verified. --idle-threshold-ms, --trace-page and --video-start-ms require --trace. Unsupported or ambiguous alignment is rejected rather than guessed. Run tekma import video --help for the current trace flags and limits.

Analyze retained video

After upload, an authorized editor can request bounded visual analysis:
The request needs captures:write, editor access, workspace AI consent and configured processing. Results are generated observations, not proof of root cause or agent instructions.
