ClickUp delivery creates a task in a List from a saved capture. Both standard and provider-defined custom task types are supported when the selected List exposes them. A workspace owner connects the default List; members send there and owners can navigate to another accessible List for a single task.

Requirements and connection

Setup requires a workspace owner. Use Continue to ClickUp when OAuth is enabled or Use a token instead with an API token that can read the workspace hierarchy and create tasks. Tekma asks for List ID. To find it, copy a ClickUp List link and use its final path segment. The connected identity must be able to read the List, statuses, fields, and explicit List members.
  1. Open Settings → Integrations and choose Connect beside ClickUp.
  2. Choose Continue to ClickUp, or choose Use a token instead and enter the token.
  3. Enter List ID and choose Connect ClickUp. Tekma verifies the List.
  4. Confirm Connected. Use Manage to change the List without replacing the credential.

Send a task

  1. Open a saved capture and choose Send to app → ClickUp.
  2. Wait for Loading preview… and review workspace, space, folder, List, task type, title, description and private link.
  3. Choose a standard or Custom task type, Status, Priority, up to ten Assignees, up to ten Tags, and supported custom fields. Supported custom values are text, number, checkbox, dropdown and labels. Subtasks, dates, people, relationships, formulas and progress fields are not supported. Assignees are explicit members of the selected List, not the complete inherited directory.
  4. Use Edit visible fields to hide optional controls, add context, and choose Send to ClickUp.
  5. Open the returned task and confirm type, status, and selected fields. If delivery is unconfirmed, inspect ClickUp first.
Owners can navigate Workspace → Space → Folder → List, including folderless Lists. Members remain on the configured List. Changing the List or task type clears destination-specific choices and reloads fields for the new type. The task contains saved report text, sanitized source URL, capture kind and a private Tekma link. It does not upload media, comments, or raw diagnostics. Required values unsupported by the current task type block creation instead of being silently dropped.

Troubleshooting

If the List hierarchy is empty, verify the token’s workspace access and use the List ID from the List link. If fields disappear after selecting a custom type, wait for the preview to reload metadata for that type. ClickUp’s required fields and List-member permissions are authoritative. A timeout may have created a task; search ClickUp before pressing Send to ClickUp again.
