Tekma currently distributes its production extension as an installation package supplied by your workspace administrator. The app’s Settings → Extensions page contains the environment-specific instructions. There is no public store listing to substitute for that package.

Install and pin it

  1. Obtain the production ZIP from your administrator and extract it to a permanent folder.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome or Chromium.
  3. Enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  4. Open the browser’s extensions menu and pin Tekma.
Keep the folder in place because an unpacked extension loads files from that location. Use the production build with tekma.dev; development builds connect to their own deployment.

Connect the workspace

  1. Sign in to Tekma in the same browser profile.
  2. Open the extension and choose Connect securely.
  3. Select the intended workspace on the approval page and approve it.
  4. Keep the popup open until pairing completes.
  5. Return to Settings → Extensions and confirm the browser is Connected.
Owners and members can connect a browser. Connections expire after 90 days without use and no later than one year after pairing. Reconnect when the extension asks.

Record and disconnect

From the popup choose Record tab, Record screen/window, or Screenshot. Choose microphone/shared audio only when needed, then review the capture in the composer. Instant Replay is an account-level opt-in in the popup. To remove future upload access, open Settings → Extensions, choose Disconnect beside the browser, and confirm. Existing captures remain.
