A share link does not open. Check whether it is expired, revoked, points to Trash, or is Workspace members only. Ask the owner for a new permitted link; opening a content-only link through MCP does not add diagnostics.
A setting is missing. Confirm the workspace switcher, role and feature gate. Owners manage billing, members, integrations, recording domains, privacy and webhooks; viewers cannot create or edit captures.
CLI authorization is missing. Set CAPTURE_MCP_URL=https://mcp.tekma.dev/mcp, run tekma auth status, then request the scope named by the error with tekma auth login --scope "…". Use local mode for an upload-free recording.
MCP returns 401. Check that the client uses the exact hosted URL and complete its OAuth flow. A share header is only valid for the permitted share and does not grant workspace administration.
An integration cannot send. Owners must connect and configure the destination. Refresh provider resources and review required fields. If confirmation is ambiguous, inspect the external app before retrying.
MFA or deletion blocks the account. Use the current authenticator code and automatic device time. Account deletion requires a sign-out/sign-in within ten minutes and fresh MFA when enabled; review ownership before confirming.
