Create a workspace

To create another workspace, open the workspace switcher and choose Create workspace. Tekma opens a two-step setup form:
  1. Enter a Workspace name and choose How many people are on your team?. Select Continue.
  2. Choose What will you use Tekma for? and What’s your role?, then choose Create workspace. These answers guide setup; they do not change permissions or enable AI.
After creation, choose Go to workspace. The new workspace starts with you as its owner. If the setup form reports an error, keep the page open and choose Try again; a saved browser draft can restore the form. You can change the workspace name later under Settings → General. Choose a workspace in the switcher before changing a setting. Open Settings from the sidebar. Owners manage workspace-wide settings; members can use the areas their role permits. Save changes at the bottom of each page and look for the saved status message. If a control is missing, check your role, workspace plan and whether the deployment has enabled the feature.

Enable workspace discovery

Owners can open Settings → General → Workspace discovery when the deployment offers it. Add up to five exact company email domains, publish the _tekma-workspace TXT proof, choose Verify DNS, then choose Enable discovery. Each proof lasts 30 days and Tekma checks DNS again when a person joins. A matching verified address joins as a Viewer during onboarding; discovery does not create accounts or bypass admission. Start with Members for a known teammate, Recording links for a guest reproduction, and Agent access for automation. Verify a recording domain separately from workspace discovery; connected-site recording requires ownership and installation verification. Use Privacy before the first capture and General → Capture retention before a high-volume workflow.
